Learn to love your language. It’s the one thing nobody can take away from you, ever. You grew up with it. It is you. It is how you perceive and express all things. Learn to love the sound of it. The look of it. Listen closely to it when you can. Pay attention to yourself, to how you articulate words. Your language is automatic, and you may take it for granted, but learn to love it. I love doing things like this. Sometimes I time myself and it’s even more fun.
yeah i kind of inadvertently timed myself. took me just over two consecutive colbert episodes to finish. all my drawings can be chronologically mapped against the lengths of tv shows/podcasts.
